What the course is about
This course helps you explore important concepts of privilege, oppression, and fairness in today’s Canadian society. By learning about different identities, personal stories, and how society is structured, you will see how inequality affects our communities and workplaces.
This course focuses on respectful and inclusive communication. You will be encouraged to think about your own values and actions, and learn how to help create more fair and welcoming spaces for everyone.
Time allocation: 3 hours of videos
+ 1 hour of independent activity


What you will gain

Think critically about practices in oppressive vs. equitable societies.
